Keep Going

“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” -Martin Luther King Jr.

Is it worth it to risk everything you’ve worked so hard for, just because you are having a bad day? Or if something isn’t working out the way you expected it to turn out. Often times we reach this road block where we start to question everything, and everyone. We reach a breaking point where we even start to question our own abilities and purpose in life. No matter how many times these various emotions and thoughts uproot in us, we must keep pressing on. I know it sounds cliche but it’s the honest truth. Nothing is worse than throwing everything away that you’ve put your all into, just because the outcome wasn’t delivered to your liking, or just because you are feeling overwhelmed or lost.

Never underestimate yourself, is key. Always be your biggest supporter. Simply looking in the mirror and affirming to your reflection, that “This too shall pass” and “I am worthy of a life well lived”. No one starts off as a golden star. We all start from humble beginnings. The journey of life itself is like a rollercoaster or sometimes can even seem like a revolving door.

You, yourself,  should always comes first in ALL that you do. Being selfish with your energy sometimes may have to be the answer in some situations. You should always be the most important person in your life. Because, at the end of the day you are the only one living in your body. That is powerful within itself.
When the road seems to rocky or the load seems to be weighing you down, always remember, that you have traveled this far despite all you’ve encountered along the way. One obstacle can not stand against the power that resides in you. You will overcome anything and everything that ever tries to dim your light. Keep glowing. Keep going.
